I think if you go to the public library they must have automotive manuals and stuff. Here in Gainesville FL they have two shelfs full of automotive stuff.

WOOT!!!! got lucky on my Neon, Just a broken Valve Spring, seats are in perfect cond. or are the Valve and stem!!! Now I just have to locate Springs..

Should I go ahead and replace all the springs since I have the head off??

I vote for springs, lifters, and cam/cams while you have the head off!

Called my local dealer... I really like dealing with them.... Talked to the about the valve spring, said he has never really head of one breaking in the 01 r/t's.... well I ordered 1 spring and a headset not bad price $111.00 plus tax... I will have my car back !!!!

well I should have my neon back this weekend... I miss her.... My has been busy with some side-job, ( he is the mechanic in the family) I wont complain he wont charge me for doing the work.... I thought I posted in this thread that it ended up being a broken valve spring.... anyone ever hear of someone breaking a valve spring in a 01 neon rt??? the parts dept. at my local dealer didnt......
this weekend will consist of putting the engine back together....
