Well, I have not been running any more than .7 on my ECV wich should be about 9 psi. That shouldn't mess up the engine should it?

The electric FAN things makes since to me. I am just happy that it wasn't something major. I should have a pretty nice running car after i get the new exhaust on. My engine only has 30k on it, and the turbo's are rebuilt.

Thanks for all the help; the information that you have given to me is much appreciated.

Re: Unbareable sound

wow only 30k miles?? that's amazing... and 9 psi should be fine for the time being... once you get the exhaust you could probably bump it up to at least 12 psi... and oh what fun it will be

The guy that owned the car before I did dropped a brand new engine in it in 2000. The car has only had 30k on it since. This guy put some serious coin into this car. At the same time he decided to upgrade the rims and put an exhaust, ECU upgrade and EVC on it. I have the reciepts for it all. He dropped like 10k into it. That is the reason I bought this car. I had the engine compression tested (No compression loss) and it has such low miles so now I should be good to go.

The exterior of the car needs some work and I don't like the rims much. I will probably have to drop at least 5 or 6 K into a paint job and new rims.

Well all I have to do with the car now is take it back down to have the fan clutch looked at since the damn thing won't disengage. You guys have been awsome with all the technical help. I really do appreciate it.
