Tweeter Wires not hooked up????

hi i have a 1996 JGC without the infinity system. There were no tweeters in the dash so i got some out of another JGC and plugged them into the dash and nothing happened. I tested the tweeters with a 9v batt. and they work i tested the wire in the dash and there is no power in it. How do i get it hooked up??
