which clutch?
i am planning to make 300-350whp, and at the track about 450 hp. i have been looking at the act xtreme clutch, and the exedy twin plate clutch. the exedy is 2x as much as the act one. would the act hold up that much power? i am going to be using stock flywheel and pulleys. im looking for a clutch that can take some abuse. but is the exedy clutch worth that $?

Dual-friction clutches are the shit. My clutch is a little too much for my car and ive snapped 2 sets of axles(although i think the shop i took it to didnt install them right).

Re: which clutch?
price doesnt really matter to me, i just want to get it right the 1st time, but if the exedy clutch isnt worth the $ then id rather spend that $ on other parsts.

Re: which clutch?
Either way you should get a lightweight flywheel. You won't be sorry.

Re: Re: Re: Re: which clutch?
The Exedy Twin disk is one of the best twin disks on the market, and it still has a pretty easy engagement and is pretty streetable. That is the clutch that I am going to be running on my build, but I am shooting for 500+whp. At your power level a twin disk is really not needed, but if you plan on upping the power in the future to over 500whp and don't mind the clutch being extreme overkill in the meantime, I would get it. But if you plan to stay in the 350whp range then I would look into a less extreme clutch.
