Power Window Problems
Hey guys.
Both of my power windows on the right side are slow going up when ever I use the driverside switches. However, they go up pretty fast when every the passenger flips the switch. Yesterday I put the rear right window down from my controls and it would not go back up. I had to walk around and flip the door switch myself. After a couple of minutes I was able to control the window from the driverside controls. Whats happening? Any tips.

I'd start by checking the switches to make sure all the connections are clean and completely connected. Next, you should get a odometer and see if there is a short between your controls and the other windows.
I'd suspect one of your wires is rubbed open and the signal is getting shorted out.

Also, and ive found this to happen often, is your main driver's switch panel is getting worn out, you can still check your wiring, but you could probably go to a junk yard and the whole panel for dirt.

I went to my Honda dealer and asked what could it be and what could I try. Well the service rep. told me that the mechanics use a silicon spray on the rails when ever clients complain about their power windows and if that didn't work get the motor replaced. So I bought a silicon spray that they sold and sprayed everything that was rubber around all 4 windows and even the rails. It helped a whole lot. Now they go down fast and go up fast. Plus the windows don't stick to the rubber sidings anymore.

Probably means your motors are wearing out. Keep the rubbers lubricated and it will help, but eventually the motor will start overheating and stopping part way up and such. plan on new motors and don't buy reman. crap.
