2001 GCL Mystery Part

I have a 2001 Grand Cherokee Laredo that typically starts only after the third turn of the key. On a trip to dealership to repair another problem they said problem was related to a "quad ring" which needed to be replaced. I can't find this part on any site but I think its supposed to be a seal around fuel pump where it fits into tank, anyone heard of this?

I've looked all over the web and cant find a part resembling 'quatrain' and also have read on wjjeeps.com that the fuel filter almost never needs to be replaced.

i dont want to spend any money i don't need to but i do need it to pass the rigorous emisssions inspection we have here in Houston. Anyone heard of this 'quatrain'? (Nostradamus jokes about seeing more $ on repairs in my future aside)

HI, I WOULD THINK THEY`VE MIS-SPELT QUADRANT WHICH IS USED TO DESCRIBE VARIOUS PARTS.
