Towing with 33 Tires
I have a 88 Chevy Stepside 350 Auto with 33 inch tires. My question is I want to tow my travel trailer with the truck being it is 4wd bad access roads, has any body towed with these size tires? Iwas told to pump up the air pressure about 15 pounds over the standard to help keep the tires stable. I dont really want ot go back to stock tires unless i have to.

Re: Towing with 33 Tires
depending on the load classification on your tires you may have to swap but I have pull boat, car hauler and horse trailer with 37" TSL's had no problems so the exactual size of the tire has no effect

Thanks for the Info tires are rated for towing, just wanted some feedback on someone who had done some towing with bigger tires. I had a few people tell me they wouldnt track that good.
