Dash Replacement

When I got my '99 Cavalier, the front dash was cracked, but being a 15 year old having a car bought for him, this was perfectly fine. But now that two years has passed, and and the dash has cracked all the way across and a chunk has fell out, I would really like to know what all would be required in replacing the dash. I took apart the dash one day, removed the front plate, the dash cover, the stereo, A/C controls, and all the screws I could find. I had the dash loose, but realized I would have to pull the steering wheel off to complete the task, so back together went everything. Im just wondering, is that all that will be required? Would the final step be removing the steering wheel? Also, what would be my pricing range in fixing this problem? Thanks alot guys.
