My new white 2001 GA SE

Well I have had my 2001 GA for 11 days now and it seems to be fine, and dandy. They were asking $8999 marked down to $7999. I got it for $6000!

The car sat for at least 6 months. The rotors(4) were rusted and the tires were cracked/junk. The seats were trashed. So I thought it would just need brakes, maybe rotors. Well I went ahead and bought new rotors and breaks here http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.m...ry_Code=GASUSP . I figured I got the car so cheap I could spend alittle cash on upgrades. Jacked the CAI off the 99 GA my wife now has, gave hers a shorty CAI. Had to do a little trimming to get the CAI though the fender. Have some nice 17" rims ordered, lookin for a good Z rated tire, if anyone knows of one at a decent price(200$- each) give me a holler.

So far just done the CAI ,new brakes and seat covers. Rims and tires r on the way. Going with a blue theme on this car, i think. Has a factory CD/casset deck , works well. I thought since I got it so cheap there might be grimlens hiding on my ride, the typical intake gasket, or those damn wheel hub units, but it runs and drive Great, just like my 99'. Not as fast as the 99' , but i'm sure by winter that'll change
Next up will be strut tower braces and lowering springs. then it'll probley be engine managment and engine up grades/exhaust. Gooo Pontiac \,,/

Glad your liking your GA, xero. If you're thinking about going with a blue theme, here's mine as some inspiration:

Good luck.

Re: My new white 2001 GA SE

Thanx Ridenour ! Thats a nice ride you got there too, a little big dont u think, LOL! Damn Shinny too. I was thinking of painting this plain white GA. After I lower it I'll get a nice-ass body kit. I like the RK Sport body kit, but i forgot where I saw it at.

Have you changed anything on the interier? I am going to try and change the lighting, i dont like all the Red on the dash , window buttons and the heater. I know the window buttons have a rubber orange film to create the color but i'm not certain on how the rest of the lights are done. I'm sure it wont be easy anyway I go. \,,/

Re: My new white 2001 GA SE

Thanks xero. Yeh I know the pics big, but it was already uploaded from a while back; so I just reused it.

Yeh I've done some minor interior stuff. I've got a pontiac arrow overlay on my steering wheel, and I've got 2 red neons with a red LED switch in a custom cubby, with a luminsicent cord all rigged up - they're all red and accent the rest of my instrument lighting. As far as changing your interior lighting, it has been done many, many times. I'll PM you the link - I'm not allowed to post it here.
