What is the IC?
I know this is going to sound dumb, but somebody asked me today what the Ignitor Chip actually does and I couldn't give them a straight answer. Any insights?

from what i've read, it tells the ecu the ignition temperature.. maybe has to do with the airbags?? not sure how but thats what i read on this page
