My 94 cav is a hard ride. it dont like bumps!

Hi guys any help would be appreciated. My 94 cavalier takes bumps very hard you feel everything. I have new springs and struts up front. Rear has new springs and shocks. If you look at the engine from up top and push the car backwards and forwards the engine moves back and forth alot.and i have new tires all around. is this just the way an 11 year old car should be or does something need to be looked at? you take quite a beating riding in this car... help

If your engine moves that much you might have a couple busted/worn out motor mounts. You're actually feeling the engine rattling around hitting the metal parts of the motor mounts when you hit a bump.

yeah you might want to check your motor mounts soon

My 94 2.2/man has a soft mount on the trans side,and there is vibration at low speeds.I have a new mount and will have to swap it out.I replaced the passenger side mount because the engine was actually moving left/right and not front/back!
