AC Condenser on '96 Passat
I just recieved a quote to replace the AC condenser (NOT compressor) on my '96 Passat GLX VR6 for $486. Does that sound reasonable to anyone?
Also, I know I can get a new one, with warranty, on ebay for about $120. Is is possible for a novice mechanic to replace this item? I would fully intend to take the car to a professional to add coolant and charge the AC. Thanks for your help, in advance! -mrcraig
