96 aurora antenna stuck

my antena would not go down when my car was shut off and just sit
there burning the motor up

so i had taken the grey plug out of the motor behind the carpet in the trunk

it stopped the motor but now i had the antena sticking up half way

about 3 weeks later i put the gray plug back in because i was sick of

looking at it, and heard that salt builds up on it and gets it stuck

so i put the plug in and the motor turns on for second and shuts off

and will not turn back on is there any way i can just get the antena

down i dont need an antena


can any one help me out
