S8
Now this car has 360 hp at 7000 rpms.Like said in the AUDI A8 FORUM it has a V-8 engine with a 6-speed!Also like they say The "S"sign means sports And the "A" means Luxury.this car only costs 40 grand (as in 40'000)so ether look at one or buy it.I also herd that this car is real good car!You earned it,so heres a pic!

I'd like to see it compared to the M5 in a magazine. Does anything really compare to an M5? This car might...just a thought.

The US version of the S8 only comes with a 5-speed automatic transmission.
It is one of the two best cars I've ever driven. I haven't driven the M5 yet, so I can't compare...but I would rank it with the Jaguar XJR as one fo the two best cars I've experienced.

I have one , it has tiptronic , you may say that it is better with the 6-speed , but for fun i still have my porsche , and i have never driven any car that is soooo good on long trips... I love the engine , and the ultimate luxury , it has more space then BMW 7-series , and i love the quality too... and we have winter with snow here , and it rains often , so you can't get get wrong with the quattro system , i always feel a little better when i see all those rwd-cars are stuck in the snow and i don't have any problems... ok enough bragging about how good it is... i think it probably won't beat M5 , at least the one with tiptronic... but a supercharged MTM version with 450hp would probably have a chance against a porsche turbo...

I love the S8 but I reckon the Merc S55 AMG is a better (If more expensive) car

the A8 isnt really meant to compete with the 5 series, that is the job of the A6 (and from recent magazine reviews the RS6 may well be better than the M5). The A8 is pitched against the 7 series and the S-class, of which IMO the Merc is best, then the Audi, then the BMW. I like the S8 alot, if only there wasnt that damn S55 to tempt me!!
