Problem with Car

Alright ...I don't really know much about cars but yeah, I have a Lumina euro 3.1 (has a 2.8 engine in it though)

Anywho..

My problem is I was driving, then all of sudden my speed was decreasing. So i pushed pedal to floor and the helped a little bit but i can barely get over 60 kmph. And it seemed to be getting worse while driving.

I have to push pedal to floor, and apply alot of pressure to make the car go, anyone know what the problem could be?

with this type of problem it should be coding(service engine soon light) if so have auto zone check it for free ,,if it isnt coding then it may be your brakes are seizing up or the converter is plugging.

glad it was an easy fix-that is probably the thing a fella would look for last.
