01 Cherokee Sport feedback please

I have a shot at an 01 Cherokee sport, 72000 mi. Trading in my 97 Isuzu Rodeo. Long term reliability? Any big issues? As far as it being "Jeep"...need not say much more Just looking for reliability; thought I would have that with the Isuzu, but it has som "issues". Thanks in advance for any help.

Ahh...just read this column....I bought a 2001 Cherokee for the daughter..also own a 97 Sport...

You need to be a mechanic...(which I am)...

Otherwise buy a Toyota truck or something.

The engine will last forever. AC is a problem. So is the Death Wobble. And the crank sensor. Oh, did I mention the NSS switch. Or the power windows and locks. Good automatic transmission though.

OIL is at $65.00 a barrel today. Gas is at $2.75 / gallon for regular.
