opinion on bad head gasket diagnoses

I have a 88 seville with a 4.5 litre

i think i have a bad head gasket but want to run it be you folks

smell antifreeze after warm up

looks to be motor oil in the radiator fill container

ruff re-start after warm up

fluid is always low but i can find no leaks

un-stable temp. readings

if this does'nt sound like head gasket to someone let me know before i get into this high labor job.

'88 with a 4.5 and how many (xxx,xxx) miles?

sounds like, but I'd pull plugs at the minimum and check compression.
if you've got oil in antifreeze and/or vice-versa, definitely sounds internal.

may only be one side, but if your doing a teardown, hardly anymore labor to do the other side while it is sitting there, rather than in three to six months.
