My coming system

I am planning a system for April and wanted to know what some of you thought of the setup. Feel free to let me know what you think would be a better alternative for any of the products listed below. Right now, I don't have speakers for the back or front listed - I plan on those later on. Hopefully the stock speakers could handle the power.

Pioneer (Premier ver) DEH-P940 (coming out in April)
JL Audio 10w3
JL Audio 250/1 Amp
JL Audio Pro Sub Box

I think this setup, with speakers in the future, would be a good setup. I was may be thinking 2 10/w3's or 2 12/w3's and a 500/1 JL amp. Not sure yet, but for now, that's the setup I'm looking at.

yes- get two subs...

one sub to shake your car...

and the other to make more noise to shake the car next to you.

get one 12w7 if ya can get your hands on one, and throw a PPI amp to it...you don't need two or three subs. stream 800W continuous on this baby...it works. if you don't belive me, ask my couleges at bay car stereo in san francisco, we've done it. it's fuckin monsterous.

I could get my hands on a 12/w7 - what kind of PPI amp are you talking about? PPI PCX-4125?

I might just settle with a JLA 500/1amp and 2 12/w3s - but if 1 12/w7 will do just as good a job, I will look into it. Still not sure .

cliff, I wanna shake a bus

i have the JL 500/1 hooked up to mine, and that's enough for me. definitely don't need 1000 watts....unless you want to go deaf...but some guy did it in his corvette and it was hella fuckin loud.
