Re: sick.

Wow, that does resemble the delorean. Maybe John d. got some ideas from them or vise versa.

Ah, yes, the Marzal. You must remember that it was designed with a different purpose than the Delorean, namely to be a "family" Lamborghini alternative to the Miura, as the Espada had not yet been released, so despite similarities in aethetics, they are quite different cars. Mr. Delorean very well may have been inspired by the Marzal, but there were other gullwing cars prior to his (such as the 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing, or the 1974 Bricklin SV-1) to give him ideas. Thus, the gullwing doors on the Delorean were certainly an uncommon and intriguing feature but hardly revolutionary.

Re: sick.

I'd take a Marzal if it was given to me, then sell it to a museum & buy a gold plated DMC, a twin turbo DMC, a 500 mile showroom DMC and another beater DMC.

Seriously, though, once you get spend time with a DMC you start to see more than "gullwing doors". The body design continues to fascinate me.

Re: sick.

I seem to recall that Bertone was also designed by Ital Design, or maybe it was Giugiaro that designed both cars. Something like that, anyway.

Re: sick.

Marzals are an interesting machine, but I much prefer my DeLorean with Chrysler Innards...... The body styling on these will never cease to amaze me either. I'm taking hints from it on some of my new car designs.
