redesigning my interior...need help w/door panel

I'm redesigning my entire interior, and on 1 of my door panels the vinyl is ripped and coming off due to sun damage, also the door lock has poped up off the panel, the previous owner of the vehicle had glued it back on using what looks like silicone sealent. Is there anyway i can reupholster the panels, if so how? and how do i get the dook lock to stay on without making a mess??

There are ways of fixing the cracks, but it would probably be more logical to just replace the panel.

Re: redesigning my interior...need help w/door panel

some faggot tried to brake into my car with a screwdriver and ripped the driver side lock out... i had to get a new one...i just bent the metal of the door back out as best i could, bogged up the hole so the surface was smooth, drilled a new hole for the lock through the bog, the put a bit more bog behind and around the lock, pushed it in, and wen the bog dried, just sanded the excess off and painted it
