DVD has no picture and car dies a few days later

04 - My factory DVD has no picture but does have sound. Two or three days pass and car is found dead in gargare. Battery totally drained 1st attempt at boost fails. Van is towed to GM they boost for 2nd time it works and DVD begins to work again. Has anyone had similar problem or does anyone know what could be causing the problem. GM has no clue and doesn't believe they are related. This has occured twice. I NEED HELP, CAR IS UNDER WARRANTY AND IT IS ALREADY COSTING ME MONEY. GM warranty does not cover second boost.
