gas

I have an 89 S10 with a 2.8 in it. How many gallons of gas does the tank hold and how many MPG average should I expect out of it?

Re: gas

I believe that it's a puny 14 gallon fuel tank that came with your truck.
You can get a 20 gallon tank for most S-10's
If your lucky you'll get 25 to 30 mpg, but this really seems to vary from truck to truck

Its a tahoe with a 2.8 hmmm. Well it seems you learn something new every day I have an 89 tahoe s10 with a 4.3 and a buddy of mine has a regular s10 with a 2.8 everything is the same so I thought it was the engine that made mine a tahoe ohh well. Do you know whats makes the tahoe package?

Re: gas

My 85 Blazer is the Tahoe, with a 2.8L, but that was the only V-6 offered then.

I thought that Tahoe was the fully loaded package, but I just don't know

I wouldn't know either.... it's even a standard transmission. NO 4WD! I don't understand that.... if it's a Tahoe, I would think it comes with 4WD. But I guess I'm wrong.

Re: gas

Both my parts Blazers also have Tahoe on the dash, and one didn't have many options.
I'm suddenly wondering if it's on all S-10's or at least all S-10 Blazers
