92 Plymouth Sundance starting problem.
I can only get 6vdc to the ignition coil. From the main wire to ground I will get 12vdc however across them I only get 6. When I ohm out the ground wire ( grey) it shows 900 ohm’s to ground. Does anyone have some advice or a diagram? Am I correct assuming I should have 12vdc on the primary of the coil?

Re: 92 Plymouth Sundance starting problem.
if you have 6 volts, you have a bad ground. Check the ground side of your primary ignition voltage. Also, your meter is reading a median voltage for your primary igniton circuit. The voltage should flutuate between -200volts to 30 volts as the magnetic field inside the coil winding collapses.
