Question 93 B2600i Problems starting.....sometimes.

I have a 93 b2600i. I've been having intermitent problems starting it. Sometimes the engine turns over fine but it doesn't fire! I wait about 20 minutes and when I try it again it starts fine. Its happened to me regularly. Sometimes not starting for 20 minutes or so and sometimes it will turn over quite quickly. I'm extremely frustrated as I'm afraid to shut the truck off anywhere and have to wait. Does anybody know what the problem is? I've got 180,000 miles on the truck but its in great shape other than the starting problem. Please help.

I'm sure I'm not flooding it.

Could it be some kind of sensor? Choke or oxygen? I'm not really sure where to begin.

Re: 93 B2600i Problems starting sometimes.

I had similar problem, and turned out to be the fuel pump relay in the fuse box. Replaced, and have not had in issue in 4 years on my 94.
