Re: Something for you people who are Curious about a B16b
Wish I could close it... It's not my section. That's soon to change though.
B16Z6+S20, please try not to bring up older threads. If you have a question pertaining to a thread that is older than a month of so, just create a new topic. This seems to make the board run a bit smoother. Also, your post made no sense at all. A Type-R Transmission will not bolt up to a D-Series motor. There is also not an adapter plate made for that application. Your friends car did not run a Turbocharged 2000 Si, it was parked. And it certainly didn't run a V8 Mustang. The 2000 Honda Civic Si with the Rev-Hard Turbocharger kit that I was thinking of buying, was running 12.8 in the Quarter Mile. It was running only 7psi, with stock Injectors, and tuned with a Fields V-AFC... It had Fuel Spikes like a Mother Fucker, and wasn't running too well. It also has JE 9:1CR Pistons, and Eagle Rods. With a proper tune, and proper Fuel components, it could hold around 30psi. Now assuming this Si had half the system that the one above had, it would still have destroyed you. And I guarantee you, there are PLENTY of Honda's that will go down the track faster than your friends ![]() I know of about 5 in our crew alone that will ![]() If you want a surprise, we've a few Honda's you could try and run... Doubt you would even keep up if we pulled the Spark Plugs off two Cylinders, but still. Just to give you an idea... -1994 Civic Si H22A. All Motor -1991 CRX LS/VTEC. All Motor -1999 Civic EX Coupe H22A. Turbocharged -1994 Civic EX D16Z6. All Motor (I'll surprise the Hell out of you with this one )-1994 Integra GSR/B20B Lower End. All Motor All of these Honda's are into the 12 Second Passes (Aside from mine, which is being built right now, so we've yet to see what she'll run). Take a look at the H22 Swap sticky at the top of this Board... Look on the last page, that's our 1994 H22 Si. Your friends car is nothing special, you've just never been in anything that is really fast. Just think before you post some Bull Shit comment like that man. I'm not trying to give you a hard time, or call you out... But you just owned yourself with that one. -Wes

First off, a B-series tranny like a type-r will not bolt to a D series motor.
Second, check the thread dates before posting and do not bring up dead threads.
