1988 plymouth reliant(frustrated)

My car won't start and I really need it too.
On a damp day it wouldn't start so i changed distrubuter cap, wires, ingnition coil and spark plugs. It still wouldn't start, so a mechanic changed AIS and some wires that were burned. I have changed thermastat, coolant temp. sensor, fuel pump relay, battery to starter wire and ignition pick up twice now and I still don't have a spark. Any ideas would be appreciated. The starter is also good, i did the battery to solenoid test with a wire. Thank you
