anyoen knwo the price of one of these from honda? in canadain or us, but please state which

alot, in canadian anyways...if you cant remove it from the throttle body, you gotta buy the whole throttle body, which is what honda has intended, thats why theres headless screws holding it in...

The TA Sensor is integrated into the throttle body(held in with 2 rivits) and it non removable.

If you want to change it, the throttle body has to be replaced.

Throttle Bodies from a junkyard should run no more than $50.

your best bet for finding one cheap is asking around on different 4th/2nd gen related sites/

try the resource.

well you CAN remove the TPS by putting a groove in the headstuds of the screws of the TPS by using a dremel tool and use a flathead screwdriver to unscrew them....I just put a TPS from a D16y7 engine(96+DX) and it was the same as the one on my Si TB. BUT you cannot use the TPS off a 4th/2nd gen DX motor for it turns the opposite way.
So it may be safe to say the TPS from a 92+ civic motor will work fine on your car if its the SI.

hopefully get it fixed this week, im going leave this project to my mechanic, but of course ill be their the whole way helping =)
