holley
does anyone know if you can put a Holley 2bbl model 2300 with a adapter plate on a b2200?
Just wondering if anyone looked into this before buying a weber 32/36. Info would help.

Its the Holley 5200 you want, it is the production version of the Weber 32/36. I would not attempt it unless you really know what your doing. The best carbs to use are off of a 2.3l ford engine (pinto, mustang II). The adapter plate for the weber will bolt it right up and the weber air filter will fit as well but you will still need to tweak the tuning and adapt a throttle linkage.
Everybody I know who has adapted a holley, including myself has said its worth it just to buy the weber.
