TH350 more fluid leakin out then I can pour in!
Well here's the deal, I have a '76 chevy w/5.7L to th350 and NP203 I have a leak that is coming from where the tranny meets the transfer case or more specific the adapter on the trannies side. I can crawl underneath her and can see the fluid just run down the front side of the adapter. My question is does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is? I think that the main rear seal is out but i'm not positive and I would like to be a little more confident before I pull it apart and replace the seal. Any ideas or info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

sounds like the rear seal, my 83 2wd does the same thing. i went and got the seal from autozone, cost me $2.50 + time to install

The seal between the tranny and adapter plate is an o-ring.
