Angry 05 Liberty limited

I have had my 05 Liberty, Limited, gas, 3.7 with the Goodyear Wrangler HP 17" for about 4 weeks and only racked up about 600 miles, and have noticed that the tires make quite a bit of noise both in town and on the highway,I took it back to the service dept and the service manager took it for a test drive both intown and on the highway he eliminated any bearing noise as the cause and even he said they are quite noisy and said to expect more noise from these more aggressive tires, when i first took a test drive it was in the Liberty sport and didnt notice much tire noise even when on the main highway clicking about 65, is he stroking me or has anybody had the same results from theirs, damn they are bothering the hell out of me hate to think I have turn the radio up just to shut out the tire noise or worse get another set of tires..Let me know if anyone has the same problem, could i have any recourse with the tire warranty?? While I am letting off steam my gas mileage is god aweful about 12mpg city no jack rabbit driving is this about right for the 3.7? yipes..........

Does your vehicle seem more slugish than before? If so, it could be bearings or something that your liberty has to overcome. You also have to remember, you aren't driving the most aerodynamic barn door on the road. but 12mpg is what my rubicon gets on 31's 4.10 rear end.

UPDATE..2900 miles...Finally got someone at a local GY dealer who was proffessional enough to take a long test ride and agreed that the tires were definately too noisy and GY replaced them with a set of Fortera Silent Guards, what a difference no loud noise and the handling is great.I had the engine flashed due to a recall and am up to 16.5 mpg thats with a tail wind... Except for this small agravation I am enjoying the little grocery getter..
