Question about tire brand

Are Nitto tires any good?? There's a tire place here selling some tight rims with 4 Nitto tires for 450... Good price, but are the tires good?

I've got 450's and it all depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for dry traction then yes they are decent tires. They do not perform well in wet weather. Nitto also has been known to "sidewall crack" due to dry rotting but that is dependant on environmental conditions your tires will see. I will give them this, I put about 36,000 miles on them and they held up treadwise but that is probably the only good thing I saw about these tires. In conclusion, if I don't recommend them.

Khumos

I have some Khumo's for my max.... great wet and dry traction, but 2 downfalls: they are Z rated, so they only last for 20,000 and they don't go anywhere in the snow or ice. Other than that, they're great... good ride, and low noise too!
