*|*|* FINISHED: Dakar Project: Revell Unimog & Tamita HDJ80 *|*|*

Hello again people

I already have finished the project which I began 5 months ago, the modification of two stock vehicles to compete in Barcelona-Dakar 2005.

Enjoy the finished pics, excuse my english and look the progress in Unimog progress thread and Toyota progress thread.

Please, I would like to know the opinion people; if you dominate English I I would be thankful to you that they left an answer me, does not cost anything and if it is not participated the forum loses value.

You can see more pics in my website ;-)

Greetings, see you

Wow ! Que bien! I like the dirt on the tires the most. What color did you use for that? Or what colors did you mix to come up with that Sandish color. Looks wonderful man.

Very nice work! But one thing is comfusing me about the Unimog.. Why are there Toyota decals on a Mercedes? I guess you have a good explanation to that Great work any way!

Hello people

Buenas noches (en España), Imola . see my replys in this post, I explained how to soil the tires, and for the body it is a similar process but without using XF1:

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=438376

Zek, thanks for all, I received your email yesterday and found photos of that Unimog in eBay... likes plus my version of the Dakar

GvEman, the truck is the assistance vehicle of the Toyota, and the equipment turns around the car, not around the truck; in other words, if the patrocinador of the car is Toyota, the truck has to take it although he is Mercedes.
Look this pics:

Mitsubishi truck...

as I already said, the truck has been left too much high...

See you!!

Excellent work, they really come alive in the photos on the dirty terrain. Very realistic weathering and great scratch building techniques. You should be proud
