Thumping sound coming from driver's side wheel
Thumping sounds like a flat tire, but of course tires are fine. Happens only when car is moving and at all speeds. No engine or break lights are on. Car is 98 Cavalier with 111k miles. Buddy of mine thinks my wheel bearings might be going bad, but need some other opinions.

Re: Thumping sound coming from driver's side wheel
you could have a busted belt in the tire... look at the tread and if looks choppy or you run your hand over it and its not all even then you have a busted belt...
