3sgte swap
Hey, Im doing the same thing, i have a 90 GTS and the engine blew@ 220k miles! I'm buying a complete front clip from a 92 alltrac. what kind of mods will i have to do to make it work? the mechanic said justr the wire harness and mounts, is thisa correct?

Hey, I'm looking into the same swap for my '89 ST. Did you do all the work during the swap yourself or did you take it somewhere? I was wondering if you could kinda let me know what you did, what problems arose, what parts from the stock motor could carry over, that sort of thing. Also, do you know if all the tranny and motor mounts are the same in the '89? I don't know if they're different because of the generation gap or not. Any help or information you could give would be great.
