Exclamation Trouble Starting

My car, has this funny quirk....

Sometimes when you put in the key, and try to start it nothing happens...no lights, no stereo, no nothing, its dead....

Checked the battery, even popped in a new one....

Now, what I do is turn the lights to the ON position, and go and shake some stuff around in the ingine, cables, wires etc...

and suddenly the 'Chime' for the lights comes on...and lo and behold the car starts...another neat way to get the car to start is to tap the brake, and sometimes that restroes power too.

The clock never keeps the time, and sometimes the stereo goes out, while the car is shifiting between gears while accelearting(its an auto)

So there you have it....any clues as to what this might be? I just bought the car....it was fine when I bought it, but I cant' trust it, cuz I dont know when it might start acting up again!

Hmm there may be a problem with a relay or fuse...take a look at all of them.
