'95 Civic won't start
Sorry to start a new thread for this, but i searched through all the other "won't start" threads and didn't find the info i needed. My '95 Civic DX has never had any problems starting, and runs perfectly... never any problems. Then I parked it for two weeks and went to start it back up and it turns over but will not start. Full tank of gas, I'm getting spark on all 4 plugs, the fuel pump is priming when i turn the ignition on and the main relay checked good. when i pulled the plugs out to check for spark they were bone dry, and this was after i had just cranked the engine for about 10 seconds straight. how can i check the fuel system for fuel delivery?

Re: '95 Civic won't start
you can also check for fuel by throwing in plugs and tryingto fire it up. if its clean and doesnt smell like fuel, then, theres no fuel, thus no combustion.
check injectors. do you know how to do a 9v test on the injectors? you can just hook up a wire from the + and - on your battery to the injectors. polarity does not matter. they should be clickin. if thats good, check contiuity and voltage on the injector wires. if these check out good, could be your injectors are clogged or just no good. make sure vac lines and fuel lines are in their proper places.

Well I went out there yesterday and cranked it for like 10 seconds with the pedal to the floor and it fired up. It starts fine now but I'd like to know what could've caused that so I could fix it before I have more starting trouble. Fuel filter maybe?

Re: '95 Civic won't start
do a tune up, change plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and fuel filter. should do the trick.
