Hey if you got the money and you like it why not.
I myself am not in a standing to drop 1000 on a single item of clothing if I was and really liked it I see no reason not to. Mainly it being a leather item I can warrent some of the price, alot of fashion is just also a spending issue but alot of better quaitly stuff costs too and i'm asuming it was a dashing coat.

If I could afford it, yea. It may not seem worth it to buy a jacket for that much, even if you have the money, but you cant get a jacket that good for 100$. So if you can drop a G, then why not have the best jacket you can get? But if it means you won't be able to pay your bills this month, you should be shot.

I've spent like 800 on suits before but wouldn't pay that much for just a jacket unless it was the nicest I ever saw and had 800 bucks stuffed in the pockets.
