water in passenger compartment from a/c

My 2002 Taurus is leaking water in the passenger side of the car.
No water is found on outside from a/c.Is there an a/c drain hole
or something i can check or what are the other possibilities?

Yes, there should be a drain for the evaporator core compartment located near the firewall on the passenger side under the car. As it sounds like you already suspect, this drain hole is probably plugged. Careful probing with a piece of mechanic's wire or clothes hanger will probably fix your problem. Just be careful not to push the wire in so far that you risk knicking the evaporator core.

Sorry that I cannot offer more detail as to where you will find the drain or how far it is safe to insert the wire. I imagine the drain will be pretty obvious to you when you go looking for it though.

Good luck!
