anyone put a cold air/air intake mod on this 2.0



anyone add an air intake kit or at least a k & n filter? how did you do and and what did you do with the other little hoses that come off the air ducts?

lol, I got a K&N filter, it just drops right in.

I also fabbed a kick-ass cold air using a pringles can. Doesn't do any noticeable good though, so it's comin off this weekend. It actually hurt my mileage.

i noticed they say the polished steel keeps the air flow and keeps the air cooler maybe the cardboard isnt allowing a good flow?

sorry to bump this thread but I have the exact same question as the guy that originally posted this... I'm no dummy, but I don't know anything about intakes. What happens with the other hoses? And what about the sensor on the box itself, obviously it's out of the picture now... ?
