buying integra

hey guys im looking to buy an integra, do all models have vtec or is it only the 1.8 models? My insurance company wont let me insure a car with v-tec and other companies wont let me go near honda!

all of them are 1.8L after 94 but onyl the gsr and type r have vtec.

why won't they insure a car with vtec? Do you have a bad driving record?If not, I think they are full of shit.

umm 90(not 94) and up integras have a 1.8 dohc 92 and up GSRs have vetec and of course the type R has vtec this is in the u.s. other countries were diff

Only the GSR from 1993 and up and the type R have vtec.

Its just their terms, i took this one for a test today, http://cars.rte.ie/usedcars/index.cf...TOKEN=13196139 Its a nice car to drive but the dealer got it in with just primer so it has been resprayed and they dont know anything about it before that, was imported from japan in 2000, has a leak in the boot and some switches and stuff are out of place but they said they would fix all that and give it to me for 3900, there are other integras around from private people for 2500 but im not sure which to go for, at least i get a 3month warrenty with the garage people
