Drl Module Problem **urgent**
So went out to leave today and the jeep batter was dead (97 JGC Ltd). Hooked up boost and fired up and looks like I left the back glass open for about 22 hours. Moved the jeep back and there was a sticky goo underneath the jeep. After some investigation ( the headlights stayed on when the vehicle was turned off) the DRL module is fried. The plug is also damaged. question is do you think that the open glass had anything to do with this? Do you think replacing the DRL will just cause it to fail again?? Anyone had any experience with this?? Can you buy a replacement plug and splice it in?? Anyone know what a DRL module is worth??

What year?
I've replaced the module on my 95. Twice. Seems to be a design flaw in the highbeam switch, both times it fried after using it. I don't recall the cost, seems to me it wasn't too bad. |
