CRX worth it?

im about to buy a CRX Si it has 140,000 miles on it here is an email the guy sent me

the car does need some work, the tps sensor just went bad so the idle is erratic. I dont know when I'm going to be home tomorrow but it will be during the evening, email me your phone number, if you already did please just email it again, here are also a few pics.


he wants $1500 is this a good buy
with the repairs i can't spend more than about $2000

Well, the TPS is a very expensive dealer only part if you can't find one in the junkyard. Also he probably ment the car has a ZC (Double cam non-VTEC motor)? I hope you plan on seeing/driving this car in person. $1500 seems a little high for a car that may need major parts/repairs. Post pics if possible and let us know what happens. GL

or he coulda meant z3 fenders/mirrors and do a little searching.. u can find a used TPS cheap.. i see ppl sell complete manifolds on ebay sumtimes for $50. get more info on this car and let us know.

i agree cuz a throttle body with the TPS is like $400 from the dealer. def. check ebay and get the hole throttle body or a full manny, if worse comes to worse u can always sell the manny on ebay.

i would get it but shits expensive around here seems like a decent deal to me. thers a 90 crx si with 190,000 wrecked down the street for 1800 obo. go to the junkyard and put one in your pocket(tps)
