eibach prokit question?????????

sup... i have found a really good deal on a set of eibach prokit for my friend... the guy was only asking for $85 for the set on a Honda Accord v6 98+.. anyway... my other friend that works at kragens said springs go bad... i never heard of springs going bad in my life until now... i need to know is he just hating on me? or is he just stupid... thanks in advance...

He's just hating on you. Those guys at those parts stores are trained to tell people that that stuff is bad so you will buy things from them. Springs wont go bad, stock springs have held up for decades and decades and havent broken...why would they now?
