I think I noticed the leak before any damage occured. I was wondering if anyone else had a similiar problem with thier S10 at 80K miles. To me it just seems to early for the seals to be failing

Re: 02 Leaking Differential Fluid
When I changed the fluids on mine it had no leaks, and possibly as much as 200,000 miles
It appeared to be the first time that this job was ever done. |

I am a little disappointed with the truck. so far I have fixed the starter, electronic fuel assembly, gas gauge, drivers side window motor. All the repairs were easy to fix but it all happened after the warranty was up. I drive my cars into the ground so I plan on having this truck for many many more years. After all a fixng a truck is so much chaeper than car payments. |

My front diff was leaking at the seal for the longest time...(would loose about 2 pints between oil changes) Finally just dropped the bloody thing and put in a new gasket, no probs since.
