96 civic with no engine

Hey Guys,
Haven't been here in a long time (last year) but I wanted some advice.

Short story:
I sold my friend this civic

He blew the engine so now I am thinking about buying it back. How much would you offer for this civic with no engine? I really loved this car and really wanted to hook it up. Right now I have a Mazda 3

but still love my old civic.

Krs

Hows the body and interior of the car look? Then engine is cheap anyways its only like 200$ realisticly the car can be sold to close to the price its worth. Have you check online for what the going price is?

The paint is still shiny, got a few dings and the interior is pretty good(at least when I sold it he is kind of a slob.)

Where do you find a $200 engine? I wouldn't buy a $200 engine.

Re: 96 civic with no engine

Well D series engines are very cheap and can be found anywhere. But if your going to buy this car I am sure your going to build up hence not using a D engine.

thanks,

and sorry for the nominal post.

Yea any junk yard or performance shop dealing with Hondas. They are all over look on the web "INTERNET". I dunno about your Y but most D series are very VERY easy to come bye. I'm gonna go smoke some crack now.

hell Ds and b18as are given away, I think my b18 block cost 20 bucks?

keep looking and how much are you willing to spend cause that car with a K would be neat if you had some extra $$ laying around, or you can get her running dirt cheap maybe mix of cheap and power.

so whats your budget thats a deciding factor imo.

I don't really have an idea of what I want to spend, it would depend on the price I could talk him into selling it for.

Anyway, it may not be siezed. I guess Iwill just have to stick with my 3. ;-)
