Re: One of those VS questions..

forgot about the 99 - 05 models...

Bonnevilles are fast, some years push close to 300hp. I dont know if they will take a VR4 though...The TT just has too wide of a power band, and too much grip. the weights are pretty similar. Depending on the year bonneville, the tranny in not geared as sporty as the VR4 either. Most years are only available with a 4-speed auto too.

got most of my info from the supercharged 2004 with 275hp

our cars can outrun them though. bonneviles have crappy top speed! we can also out corner the hell out of them, they move like they are sitting on marshmellows.
if your dumb enough to get caught in a straigh out run with one then you are asking to get killed. a S/C V6 VS. a Non-boosted V6, no crap your gonna loose, your falling into a situation where you have no advantage.

as far as a crappy grandma car beating us. well our cars are from a different era. when our cars where built there where loads more restrictions on the automotive market and cars where sevearly de-tunned to keep emissions and other crap tabbed. now the horse-power war is over and the manufacturers won so you can buy a new car with 400hp for under 40K. a new SRT-4 will smoke the shyte out of a classic Ferrari Dino but that dosent mean its a better car, just different ears.

Stealthmod, was the Altima a 2.5 or a 3.5? the 3.5 is no where near our territory, those suckers dont even deserve an Altima badge, they have the same motor as the 350Z de-tunned to 260 hp.
the 2.5 are pigs though, easy kills.
