HELP !! CHEAP CRankshaft for metro 2000

Ok obviously I do need a new or used crankshaft - my problem is I can't find any here on the Island or they ar unaffordable - Does anyone has an idea where I can get a cheap refurbished crankshaft for my Geo Metro??

1.3L sohc 16v engine? And what did you do to the crankshaft to have to replace it?! And 2nd, how did it not ruin the engine? Usually crank failure is catastrpohic.

Did the crank bolt come loose letting the woodruf key eat the end of the crank?

Go to this website and fill out the info: http://www.uautoparts.com/new_request2.php
They run a service parts locater to wrecking yards all over the US and ship all over including the Bahamas I would think. There are other services like this one on the web. Once you register with them, you will start getting quotes including shipping cost from parts outfits all over the country via email. Just take the best deal and voila, your crankshaft arrives. Ask these outfits if they will check the CS with a michrometer to determine it's condition. Perhaps send it to a machine shop for turing if necessary. Get brgs to fit the undersize if required but you know all that, right? Do watch out for Hurricanes.

Hope all goes well. Let us know how things work out.
