What's a good price?
I just smashed the shit out of my 240SX that was running mid 14s and I told myself I won't settle for anything slower. Unfortunately I'm in a Tercel now but I've had several modded up AW11 MR2s and I'm now looking to get an MR2 Turbo. There is a 91 MR2T on autotrader for $3700 that needs 'transmission work' and I'm thinking as long as it shifts into each gear I won't even worry about the tranny. I have a high mechanical aptitude and the Tercel to drive while I work on the Mister Two so I won't be paying any outrageous shop fees. But my question is: what price should I look for in an older Sw20 Turbo?

Re: What's a good price?
"search feature"
between 2000 and 15000 usd is pretty fair for a "what price should i look for"

Re: What's a good price?
How many miles are on the engine?
I paid $800 + 120 shipping for a '98 LSD transmission for my 3SGTE, and that took me 2 months to find. 93+ transmissions are what you want, especially if they have LSD like 80% of the 93+'s do, it's just finding them. Then consider it's a bizzle to work on these cars. You might want to consider a clean 93+ MR-2 (heavy, but better susp) for 6,000 or so. 91-92's are lighter, ESPECIALLY if you get a cheap n/a 91 and do a JDM swap.
