Lights out
The lights for the heat and A/C dials don't seem to be working anymore. I checked the fuses -all good. When I push the A/C button the button lights but nothing around the dials.
Anyone else have this problem? Is there a buld behind the dials that need to be replaced?

Yeah, there's a tiny little bulb... slightly larger than a grain of rice. It's behind the middle knob, the one that controls the fan. Ya know, 1 2 3 4... Pull the knob off and you'll see the bulb. Carefully pull it straight out and replace. That's the fastest way in the jetta IV. The bulb is dealer only, and will run you about a buck if I remember right.

I pulled on the center knob a little and the light came back on...
