Red face ebay exhaust for my 2000 type R

I was wondering if anyone new anything about buying exhaust from ebay. I seem to have two options spend around $450 on actual apexi or I can buy some knock off that looks pretty close for around $220. If you have help or a horror story please email me....thank you.

One of my former friends bought a system off ebay(knock off) and it looked incredibly close to apexi n1 cat back right down to the angled muffler(most knock offs are straight) , but it sounded soo horrible, after only one (just 1) week he got so sick of it he bought a real rsr ex mag series cat back from a local shop. extremly nice and very quiet. i'd just get the real thing. i've found the saying "you get what you pay for" to be very true unless you get lucky and catch a shop on it's grand opening or going out of business

Yes you get what you pay for. Plus the "real" thing will last longer. Trust me you want to do it right the first time. You will be much happier in the end. If you go with crappy parts, then you will end up replacing them in the future because they break, sound/perform badly...etc.
